Chocolate chip cookies!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to go home. I had access to an actual oven so I went a little crazy and made home made chocolate chip cookies. The cookies are easy to make. All you need is an oven, some non stick cookie sheets, a couple bowls, and a mixer. This recipe is good for anyone who is interested in baking it is very simple and you can get your friends and family involved in the baking. There is nothing better then warm chocolate chip cookies on a cold fall night.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups NESTLÉ Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

This recipe makes about 5 dozen cookies

I've made this recipe several times so it was a breeze to make them. One thing I like to do is make the cookies slightly larger, because I mean, who doesn't love a giant chocolate chip cookie? The cookies are the best fresh out of the oven with a tall glass of milk. I love to take the cookies and place them in a glass and then add some milk to make something similar to a milkshake. Chocolate chip cookies never go out of style and can be enjoyed either by themsleves, with nice cold milk or even some ice cream.
